I would have to sum it up to three essential things that are health and wellness related, which include:
• 1 hour of workout, meditation, yoga, or writing in my journal
• Take my vitamins, minerals and use my essential oils
• Take time to be by myself (breathe, note and synchronise thoughts and feelings from the day) or deep conversation with someone close
- Your favorite health dish or recipe or drink that readers must know about?
My go-to morning tea:
• 8oz. Hot water boiled with one cinnamon stick
• Add 1 squeezed lemon
• Add 1 tsp. raw honey or agave
• Add 1 tsp. coconut or mct oil
→ this combination is high in antioxidants, its loaded with vitamin C, it has both anti-inflammatory & anti-viral properties, and it promotes healthy skin, better digestion and aids in weight management.
8. One advice you would give to your 15-year-old-self?
Time flies, so don’t try to rush through life. Savour each moment, for one day they will be memories. Know that you are your worst critic and at the same time – only you know your true potential, so don’t be too hard on yourself. Learn to love and be kind to yourself. For this also influences how you love and treat your close ones.
9. Favorite inspirational quote
“The same boiling water that softens the potato, hardens the egg. It’s about what you’re made of. Not the circumstances”. “Don’t decrease the goal, increase the effort”.
